Laboratory for Adaptable MRI Technology
The laboratory for Adaptable MRI Technology (AMT lab) is settling at the University of Basel Department of Biomedical Engineering, with first mission the development of tools and technologies to bring MR diagnosis in environments and settings where it is usually not available. The AMT lab is particularly interested in enabling MRI compatibility with therapeutic devices (image guided therapy) or heavy sources of imaging artifacts such as in the presence of magnetic materials. The AMT lab second strong field of interest is the development of imaging strategies for the absolute quantification of tissue properties via time-efficient multi-parametric acquisition techniques.
Keywords: MRI, MR methods and hardware, MR guided therapies, multi-parametric imaging, low magnetic field, MR elastography.
