National MD-PhD Grant for Christian Haas of BLOG
Christian Haas of the BLOG group has been granted with 188.250 CHF from SNSF within the National MD-PhD Program of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMW). He received the grant for his project “OCT-guided laser skin ablation system”.
BLOG develops optical coherence tomography to become one of several systems that help the laser to cut only bone tissue and nothing else. Haas’s project addresses a couple of questions connected to the combination of OCT and laser ablation, but not for bone but for skin ablation.
