DBE Summer School 2023
From 12.-16.06.2023, 23 students from the PhD program in Biomedical Engineering as well as from Swiss TPH participated in the DBE Summer School 2023 on “Good Scientific Practice: Focus Biomedical Engineering”. The Summer School took place in the beautiful Black Forest in Muggenbrunn next to Todtnau, Germany.
Seven speakers from a wide range of disciplines provided insights into principles of good scientific practice, mentoring and supervision, data protection and management, cyber safety, authorship and patenting as well as conflict management. Besides these course activities, the students could explore the region and had the opportunity to discover one of the highest mountains in the Black Forest, Belchen, which offers some of the most impressive panoramas in the region.
