The Medical Robotics Week 2021: Fact and Figures
The DBE was this year’s host of the Medical Robotics Week 2021. Planning it took an exceptionally long time, as the changing Corona measures kept transforming the framework. Now the event has – finally – taken place from June 07-11, 2021 and was attended by more than 230 participants.
The one-week event consisted of two conferences (MESROB 2021 and AUTOMED 2021) with up to three parallel sessions on June 07-09, 2021, followed by three workshops on June 10-11, 2021.
More than 15 keynote speakers from the US and Europe gave exciting insights into latest research results in the field of engineering sciences including robotics, navigation and laser technology. A broadcast studio was set up in Allschwil, where four of our employees provided the entire live streaming into the conference platform.
Congratulations to the conference award winners! Out of 15 prices for best papers and posters, 6 prices went to DBE scientists!
