I obtained a BSc in Information Engineering and an MSc in Electronic Engineering at the University of Padua, Italy. In the interim, I also participated in the double-degree program TIME, obtaining a French degree of Diplôme d’Ingénieur in generalist engineering after spending two years at École Centrale Paris, France. Thanks to these studies, I discovered and developed a fascination for applied quantum physics as well as for medical imaging technologies. Now, I am very happy to take advantage of my background to contribute in a practical way to the research in the multidisciplinary field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the AMT lab.
My PhD project focuses on the Elastography of diseases with high iron content in an organ, via MRI with a low magnetic field (≤ 0.1 T).
My activities in this project include:
- RF coils design and building
- MR sequence programming
- design of mechanical transducers for vibration
- numerical simulations
- inverse problem solving
