The AMT Center is happy to welcome a new member: Luz Adriana Corredor Garcia has joined our group as a Master student.
During her Master project she will investigate novel approaches for MR thermometry at low field in adipose tissue undere the supervision of Marco Fiorito and Najat Salameh.

Our group is growing
New PhD student
Tobias Senft has successfully completed his Master program and will continue working in our group as a PhD student.
Under the supervision of Mathieu Sarracanie, he will continue to work on DL approaches for the reconstruction of low field MRI data, extending his results to non-cartesian 2D and 3D acquisitions.

The AMT Center is happy to welcome a new member: Augustin Moreau from Télécom Physique Strasbourg.
His Master thesis will focus on the inverse algorithms for the reconstruction of MR Elastography data under the supervision of Najat Salameh and Maksym Yushchenko.

Extended SNSF Grant
Najat Salameh has been granted an additional 800.000 CHF by the SNSF for her on-going project ”Interventional and susceptibility artefact free MRI". The additional funding covers research for another two years about tackling the challenge of making MRI technology accessible in interventional medicine.

ESMRMB 2020 Award
Jean-Philippe Deneuville has been awarded the Cum Laude Award for his poster entitled Quantitative MRI performed under dynamic conditions to reveal the biomechanical nature of the Nucleus Pulposus in a fissured intervertebral disc, a proof of concept study presented at the ESMRMB Congress 2020.

Visiting PhD student
Our group was very glad to have with us for the past four months Davide Cicolari, a PhD student from the University of Pavia. Despite the challenges due to the timing of the Covid-19 situation, Davide did a lot of important work and achieved interesting results in our lab. The whole team wishes him a successful completion of his PhD and hopes to continue collaborating together in the future.

Gallery of the COST Training school in NMR relaxometry and MR imaging, February 2019
The training school organized in February at our Department has been a huge success: 20 international participants, 11 lecturers, intesive courses on the theory and practice of NMR relaxometry, MR engineering, programming, and processing. This workshop could not have taken place without the support of many people and institutions, with a special thank you to all the teachers and the organizers.

Training school on NMR Relaxometry and MR Imaging
13 - 15 February 2019
The AMT Center in partnership with their colleagues from the University of Aberdeen is organizing a training school on NMR Relaxometry and MR Imaging.
This event, supported by the European Cooperation in Science & Technology Network on NMR Relaxometry (COST Action CA15209), will take place at the DBE in Allschwil from the 13th until the 15th of February and will host 24 students from all over Europe.
