A new semester begins at DBE
A new semester is underway at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and we are delighted to welcome more than 50 new students from 10 countries around the world. They are starting the joint MSc in Biomedical Engineering, co-organized with the School of Life Science (FHNW).
On Friday, 11 September, the new students got to know Basel on a city tour organised by the student representatives. They past the city’s highlights before stopping for a drink sponsored by the DBE – a small toast to the start of their studies!
On Monday, 14 September, the students came together for the official welcome event, where they received an introduction to the program and university life.
On Tuesday, it was time to get down to business: the new students attended their first lecture and officially began their studies in Biomedical Engineering.
