Competence Cluster Laser & Robotics
The Competence Cluster Lasers and Robotics focuses on novel approaches to osteotomy, neurosurgery, spine surgery, visceral surgery, and rehabilitation by developing applications ranging from virtual reality solutions to minimally invasive robotic surgery. Groups in this cluster are the Bio-Inspired RObots for MEDicine Lab, the Center for Intelligent Optics, the Center for medical Image Analysis and Navigation and Swiss MAM. All four groups are also doing research within the MIRACLE II Project. CIAN is primarily listed in the Medical Imaging Cluster, Swiss MAM in the Biomaterials Science and Regenerative Medicine Cluster.
