Recent news about the move

(22 Nov) Handling of Gas Cylinders

Return nitrogen and CO2 gas cylinders by move time (Dec. 9, 2022). Nitrogen and CO2 gas cylinders will only be moved if needed for temporary operations until regular operations begin in January 2023. e.g. incubators, etc. Other gas cylinders (e.g. argon), if possible, also return. Removal transportation will cost us extra and is costly.

Remark:
Due to personal safety, the use of oxygen displacing gases is only allowed in laboratories with appropriate safety systems. The new labs have permanently installed nitrogen and CO2 for regular operation.

(18 Nov) Everything (really everything) will be cleaned after the move. The moved furniture must be cleaned first, so do not put computers and monitors on your tables. Instead, leave them in the cage trolley (in which they will have been brought by the movers) until the tables are cleaned.

  • Do not put boxes in the offices at GRID on the desks. Put them on the floor.
  • All chairs will be cleaned between Christmas and New Year—so no access—take a vacation!
  • Professors please don’t put furniture in for a day after the move because it is being cleaned as well.
