Madina Kojanazarova obtained her Bachelor in Medical Engineering at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. After having worked in the field of medical device regulatory affairs for 2 years in Stockholm, she joined the master program in Biomedical Engineering at University of Basel. There, she conducted her master thesis at CIAN on anomaly detection in MR images of the lungs.

Since March 2021, Madina joined the Planning and Navigation group of CIAN where she is working on soft-tissue simulation for a visuo-haptic simulator to complete her PhD Thesis.
