Renate joined the DBE in September 2024 as part of the Master's Program Coordination team. Previously she worked as PhD coordinator for the PhD Program Health Sciences (PPHS; University of Basel), and in October 2025 she also took on the role of coordinator for the PhD students at the DBE, embedded in the Graduate School Medical and Health Sciences (GSMHS). In her free time, Renate enjoys gardening with her cats, reading, and playing korfball.
