The Multimodal Exploration Lab for Pediatric Epilepsy, Neurodevelopment & Sleep (ped-LENS) investigates how sleep, epilepsy, and cognitive development interact throughout childhood. By integrating high-density EEG, advanced MRI, neuropsychological and clinical data, the group studies brain maturation, network homeostasis and reorganization. Its objective is to develop interpretable, data-driven biomarkers to improve diagnosis, outcome prediction, treatment monitoring and individualized care for children with epilepsy, sleep disorders and related neurodevelopmental conditions.
