On National Future Day, we had the great pleasure of welcoming 32 children to the DBE. These eager young visitors, aged 10 to 14, were introduced to the world of Biomedical Engineering Research.
They explored the human body through virtual reality, uncovered the principles of artificial intelligence, tested rehabilitation robots, and collaborated to control an avatar using motion sensors. Using a CT scan, they even discovered what was hidden inside a chocolate surprise egg before enjoying it, and they created their own keyrings in our 3D printing lab.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to this event and look forward to greeting another group of curious young minds next year!
