Competence Cluster Biomaterials Science and Regenerative Medicine
Projects in this competence cluster are developing novel materials for medical and clinical application, new methods for cleft lip and palate surgery and for planning neurosurgical and spine surgical interventions, approaches for 3D printed implants as well as technologies for soft and bone tissue engineering. These groups are Biomaterials Science Center, Facial and Cranial Anomalies, Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery and Research, Swiss Medical Additive Manufacturing, Technologies for Tissue Engineering, and Vascularized Bone Biofabrication. Research of the Orthodontic Research Group is closely linked to the activities in this group.
