The FLOAT: Robot-Assisted Gait Rehabilitation

The FLOAT is a 4-dimensional rehabilitation device for safe robot-assisted gait training. Inside the FLOAT, patients can walk freely over ground, train stair climbing, perform standing-up/sitting-down, and re-learn many other tasks that even involve commercial gait aids like a walker or cane. Our aim is to improve FLOAT transparency and control making it more intuitive in different rehabilitation scenarios for both patients and therapists
