The Competence Cluster Lasers and Robotics focuses on innovative approaches in the fields of osteotomy, neurosurgery, spine surgery, visceral surgery, and rehabilitation. It promotes the innovation of relevant medical technologies by developing a variety of applications, ranging from virtual reality solutions to minimally invasive robotic surgery.
All research teams within this cluster are involved in the research of the MIRACLE II Project. Some of these teams are also affiliated with the Medical Imaging Cluster and the Biomaterials Science and Regenerative Medicine Cluster, forming a research model featuring cross-cluster collaboration.
