Digital Analysis of Biomarkers
Dr. Marta Nowak engages in translational research projects focused on the digital assessment of both established and novel biomarkers to enhance the understanding of tumor biology and improve patient stratification. The goal is to use digital image analysis applications to develop algorithmic prototypes that could standardize and streamline pathology workflows. Her primary research areas include the evaluation of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and the expression analysis of mismatch repair proteins.
