Competence Cluster Data Driven Modelling & Analysis
The art of modelling and analysis depends on the quality of data and the efficiency of its interpretation. The research groups in this competence cluster are concerned with developing novel ways of producing, analysing, and using data for better prevention, treatment, monitoring, and rehabilitation. The groups clustered here are Computational Physiology and Biostatistics, Digital Dermatology, Digital Surgery, the Institute of Forensic Imaging, and the Orthodontic Research Group. Due to their research profile, the Basel Muscle MRI, Center for medical Image Analysis and Navigation, Facial and Cranial Anomalies, the Institute of Forensic Medicine, and the Magnetic Resonance and Physics Group are also deeply involved in data driven modelling and analysis.
