An engineeering culture, in which experts of different fields share ideas in a true collaborative effort, can only thrive on the firm ground of mutual trust. Other than less transdisciplinary endeavours, researchers in the field of biomedical engineering need the skills to engage in sustainable, close and inclusive collaboration. We are blessed to have such a spirit at the DBE. In order to maintain and to deepen it, we have defined guidelines, general integrity rules, and our overall mission and success positions, as listed below.
