Department Management
The Department of Biomedical Engineering is headed by Prof. Philippe Cattin, with Daniela Vavrecka-Sidler as managing director. They and their management team take care of hundreds of different bureaucratic and administrative tasks from human resources and finances over study coordination, IT, safetey issues, facility management, and communication. Their work is essential to support the current momentum of the discipline of biomedical engineering and the rapid growth and development of the DBE.
