Enrolment in the Program gives access to exclusive events dedicated to PhD students such as the yearly DBE PhD Day or the PPHS welcome event.

Organized yearly by PhD students for their peers, it can include lab tours, workshops, lectures but also games as well as a get-together meals.

This year, 4th PhD Day will take place on May 24th 2024 at 9:00 in the Science lounge of the DBE.

The organizing committee which consits of Beate Lyko (BMC), Carina Schmidt (BIROMED-Lab), Natalia Mañas Chavernas (CIAN) and Oumeymah Cherkaoui (CIAN) is developped and attractive program including:

• Worshops dedicated to science communication and research video making
• Games and a treasure hunt
• Alumni presentations followed by Q&A
• Lunch and BBQ

Welcome Events

New students are invited to attend the Welcome Event organized by our partner PhD Program Health Science (PPHS) at the beginning of everysemester. At this event students will get information about PPHS and their services (funding, courses, etc.). Furthermore, new students have the opportunity to get to know their student representatives, other students and ask questions.
