Dr Ece Özkan Elsen Appointed as BRCCH Professor
We are excited to announce that Dr. Ece Özkan Elsen has been appointed as BRCCH Assistant Professor of Paediatric Digital Health Data Analysis at our Department. Starting July 1, 2025, Dr. Özkan Elsen will join the DBE and continue her groundbreaking research in machine learning for paediatric care.
Dr. Özkan Elsen's work focuses on developing machine learning methods that are interpretable, fair, and generalizable, which significantly enhance the diagnosis and management of childhood diseases. Her innovative approach involves combining medical images, clinical data, and physiological signals to create computational models designed to support clinicians in their efforts.
