University of Basel and FHNW launch joint Master in Biomedical Engineering

The Joint Degree Master in Biomedical Engineering will be offered by the two universities for the first time in the fall semester of 2023. Classes are taught in English; registration is possible until the end of April.

The program is designed for students with a bachelor's degree in medicine and natural sciences like computer science, biology and nanosciences. The aim is to enable graduates to drive the progress of medical technology in the future and thus improve people's lives. The lectures take place at the University of Basel as well as at the FHNW Campus Muttenz at the School of Life Sciences FHNW.

  • On February 14, 2023, the two universities will present the Joint Degree Master in Biomedical Engineering at the FHNW Campus Muttenz. At the information event, interested parties can find out more about the degree program.
  • On March 16, 2023, the University of Basel will host the online info evening Master, where detailed information about this Master program will be offered.
